Durbar brings the beauty and richness of Nepalese and North Indian cooking to Charlestown, in the heart of Newcastle. We are a family kitchen built on classical technique — momos folded by hand each morning, masalas ground fresh, and breads pulled from the tandoor to order. From candle-lit dinners to private celebrations and full-service catering, every plate is made with care and the spice of memory. Our private room hosts birthdays, engagements, weddings and corporate events, and our team caters off-site across the region with the same passion that defines our dining room.
